Do you remember him?
Zip Silver. He was one of the fastest in the 880 yard run. He could
come from behind with his blasting speed. He also played a lot of
basketball. And boy could he rebound. But he failed to make the
basketball team. He was a friend of George Morgan, who was the
center on the basketball team and also George was on the track team
where he excelled in the Shot Put. George Morgan was a cousin to a girl named Pat Morgan. Zip was supposed to take Pat to the High School Prom-1959. But it never happened due to a lack of transportation. I wonder whatever became of Pat Morgan. And I hope that she has had a good life. I am Zip Silver. And my real name is Jerome 'Jerry' Silver.
