Roxbury High
School, Succasunna, New Jersey
Class of
1944 Memories History
We recently received
this 1944 COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES folder from Sara (nee Cocking) Dailey,
daughter of Carolyn Baker Cocking from the Class of '44, who in turn
was the daughter of Jere & Lulu Baker, who ran Baker's Auto Body
Shop on Rt 46 in Kenvil. Lulu was part of the old time Conkling
family who owned property on Mooney Mt. There's lots of Roxbury history there!! Thanks to Sara and family for sharing this. |
Roxbury
High School primarily serves the six communities of Roxbury
Township in Morris County, NJ: Ledgewood, Kenvil, Landing, Succasunna, Port Morris and Lower Berkshire Valley. Mount Arlington students also attend Roxbury HS to this day. Over the years several other Municipalities have sent their students to Roxbury. Several long time Roxbury families had students in this 1944 class: Apgar, Baker, Fancher, Gardner, Henderson, Valentino. |
